Updated: Driver Killed In Head-On Car Crash

A 31-year-old Somerset man was killed October 15 after he was involved in a head-on car collision at Amwell and South Middlebush roads.

The man, Alex Folnagy, was the only occupant of the white Nissan Altima he was driving, police said.

Folnagy was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the release. The driver and passenger of the other car – neither of whom were identified – received non-life-threatening injuries, the release said.

The factors that contributed to the crash are currently under investigation by the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office Collision Analysis Reconstruction Team and the Franklin Township Police Department’s Traffic Safety Bureau, according to the release.
