County Recycling Pickups To Be Delayed

Some recycling pickups scheduled for the week of Jan. 1 will be delayed, according to a release from the Somerset County Recycling Division.

The Christmas and New Years’ holiday result in a high volume of recyclables, leading to the delays, the release said.

Residents can leave recyclables at their curbs and they will be picked up as soon as possible, according to the release.

The Somerset County Recycling Center will be closed Monday, Jan. 1, for New Year’s Day.
