Art Show, Tours On Tap At Historic Homes

The third annual “Follow the Middlebush Roads” historic house tours will also include an art show this year.

The event is set for 1-5 p.m. Sept. 14 at the three homes: the Hageman House at 209 South Middlebush Rd., the Wyckoff-Garretson Museum at 215 South Middlebush and the Van Liew-Suydam House at 280 South Middlebush.

Attendees may start at either of the houses.

Presented by the Meadows Foundation, the event is presented in partnership with the Franklin Township Cultural Arts Council.

Local artists will display their work at all three houses. A special ceremony is set for 1 p.m. at the Wyckoff Museum to thank local resident Sue Heins and Emily Kern for their donations of antiques to the museum.

A docent at each house will conduct the tours, and light refreshments will be served. A $5 donation will be requested.
