Antonio J. DiBuono, Korean War Veteran

Antonio J. DiBuono, 84, passed away on Saturday, September 10 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Somerville.

Mr. DiBuono was born April 15, 1932 in Brooklyn, New York, the son of Ciro and Maria (Mentone) DiBuono. He resided in Piscataway and New Brunswick, before settling in Somerset.

Antonio served our country faithfully for three years in the United States Army during the Korean War. He loved horse racing and will always be remembered for his humor. A devoted husband and loving father and grandfather, he cherished time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Mr. DiBuono is predeceased by his spouse, Geraldine DiBuono; his son, Joseph DiBuono; his father Ciro DiBuono and his mother Maria DiBuono.

He is survived by his companion, Marion Carnevali; his children, Anthony DiBuono, Allen DiBuono and his wife Kim, Deborah Ortega and her husband Brad, Judith Doyle and her husband Steven; his daughter-in-law, Barbara DiBuono; his grandchildren, Anthony, Shannen, Joseph, Taylor, Natalie, Jake and Jeri and a host of nieces and nephews.

Friends and family may visit on Wednesday, September 14th from 6-8 p.m. at the Gleason Funeral Home, 1360 Hamilton St.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 15th at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in East Brunswick.
