The Willow Creek Rehab and Care center on Easton Avenue held its inaugural vendor fair fundraiser on Nov. 5.
Proceeds from the event are earmarked for the Alzheimer’s Association, in recognition of National Alzheimer’s Month.
Mindi Salvo, the center’s recreation director, said that 25 vendors signed up for the event.
Money was raised from vendor’s fees, plus a food concession, she said.
“This is a win-win, they’re getting customers to buy their items, and we’re raising money for the Alzheimer’s Association,” she said. “Hopefully it will be a success and they’ll want to come back and we’ll do it again.
