St. Matthias R.C. Church on John F. Kennedy Boulevard kicked off its 27th annual carnival on May 13.
The carnival boasts more than 15 rides, food choices ranging from cotton candy to Filipino barbecue sticks and a Super 50-50 that last year paid its winner $20,000.
The carnival runs through May 18. Hours are 6-10 p.m. through May 16, 2-10 p.m. May 17 and 2-9 p.m. May 18.
On May 14, 15 and 18, $25 gets you a bracelet allowing unlimited rides.
