Bridgewater, NJ – The Somerset Patriots will host Star Wars Night at TD Bank Ballpark on Tuesday, August 13th for the team’s 7:05 pm game against the Lancaster Barnstormers. The game is presented by The Beez Foundation.
The Somerset Patriots will welcome costumed characters from the films courtesy of the 501st Northeast Remnant and the Saber Guild Corellia. Currently scheduled to appear are Obi-Wan Kenobi, Darth Vader, Princess Leia, R2D2, Emperor Palpatine, Rey, Kylo Ren, Finn, Stormtrooper, Boba Fett, Jawa, Padme, Jango Fett, Sandtrooper, Biker Scout, TIE Fighter Pilot, Imperial Officer, Imperial Navy Trooper, Shore Trooper, and a Rebel Fleet Trooper.
Fans will be able to meet all the characters and take pictures with them on the main concourse throughout the game.
Somerset Patriots players and coaches will be wearing exclusive Star Wars themed jerseys featuring Darth Vader that fans can bid on throughout the game. The auction will take place online only through the team’s website www.somersetpatriots.com and Mobile App. Fans interested in participating in the auction must have a DASH Auctions account. Proceeds from the auction benefit The Beez Foundation. The auction will end at 9:30 pm on Tuesday, August 13th.
Throughout the game, fans will be able to enjoy music and clips from the Star Wars films and participate in various themed-activities at the ballpark.
Fans that wear Star Wars apparel or dress in costume will receive $2.00 off their tickets at the box office.
