A 33-year-old Somerset man remains locked up in the Monmouth County Correctional Institution, Freehold, after he was allegedly found on Oct. 20 with 159 wax folds of suspected heroin and other drugs during a motor vehicle stop.
Englishtown police arrested John A. Houston, Jr. and charged him with six counts of 3rd Degree Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance, one count of 1st Degree Possession of a CDS with Intent to Distribute and one count of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a disorderly persons offense.
Houston is being held on $102,500 bail on all the charges.
Police said Houston was found with 159 wax folds of suspected heroin labelled “Rush,” “Paid” and “File Copy;” three small plastic wraps containing suspected cocaine; 35 Methadone pills; five Buprenorphine Hydrochloride and Naloxone Hydrochloride pills and six Alprazolam pills. Police said Houston also had five hypodermic syringes, a balloon used to hold drugs, small rubber bands and wax folds used to pack heroin and a small bag of suspected marijuana.
