Sugar Land, TX – The Sugar Land Skeeters (32-30) swept the doubleheader from the Somerset Patriots (35-27) Saturday evening at Constellation Field. The two teams combined to play 17 innings and 5 hours and 44 minutes of baseball. The Skeeters are now 8-1 against the Patriots this season. Somerset remains just 1.0 game up on the Long Island Ducks with eight games remaining in the first half Liberty Division race.

The Sugar Land Skeeters tripled up the Somerset Patriots 6-2 in game one of the doubleheader. The Skeeters scored in all but two of the six innings in which they batted.
