The annual Sinterklaas celebration will once again be held this year, but at a new location.
The Dutch holiday event is set for 1-3 p.m. December 8 at the Van Liew-Suydam House, 280 South Middlebush Road.
Although the event is free, tickets are now required due to safety concerns surrounding its popularity. Tickets are limited and there will be one ticket per personal vehicle, regardless of how many people are in the vehicle. Click here for tickets: https://ticketstripe.com/Sinterklaas2024
This will be the last event before the house undergoes a restoration project.
There will be crafts and toys for the kids, ornaments for them to decorate and hang on the tree, games for all to play, and Dutch-baked goods and seasonal beverages for sale.
Sinterklaas will spend time with each child, checking his book to see if they have been good or bad, with goodie bags for each child to take home.
Please check the Meadows Foundation website for updates in regards to weather, and for other upcoming events.
