Patriots Sweep Double Header Over Bluefish

Bridgeport, Conn. – The Somerset Patriots (14-6) swept a doubleheader against the Bridgeport Bluefish (10-10) Wednesday at the Ballpark at Harbor Yard, taking game one 4-3 and game two 9-1.

Somerset opened the scoring in the top of the second inning in game one on a Jerry Sands solo home run. Justin Pacchioli’s RBI single in the top of the third doubled the Patriots’ lead to 2-0.
