Patriots Rally Past Ducks 7-5

Central Islip, NY – The Somerset Patriots (5-5, 55-25) rallied past the Long Island Ducks (5-4, 51-28) to win 7-5 Saturday evening at Bethpage Ballpark.

In the top of the first inning Somerset scored four times to take a 4-0 lead. Right fielder Michael Burgess drew a bases loaded walk, designated hitter Mat Gamel clubbed a RBI sacrifice fly and a pair of runs scored on third baseman Cody Puckett’s throwing error.
