Patriots Rally Falls Short As York Wins 5-2

529snyderwebYork, PA – The Somerset Patriots (21-16) only mustered three hits through eight innings, but strung together three hits in the ninth inning to get the go ahead run at home plate. The rally wasn’t enough as the York Revolution (22-15) won by a final score of 5-2 Sunday afternoon from PeoplesBank Park. The Revolution have won two of the first three games of the four game series.

“We couldn’t get much going early on, but it still shows you we have this never give up attitude as we were one big knock away at the end,” Somerset Patriots manager Brett Jodie remarked.
