New Britain, CT – The New Britain Bees (35-34, 71-68) edged the Somerset Patriots (38-31, 76-63) 4-3 Saturday evening at New Britain Stadium.

“I thought I threw the ball well except Jon Griffin had my number tonight,” said starting pitcher Shaun Garceau. “But I think we all feel good about ourselves. These next few days are just about locking in and getting ready for Wednesday.”
