Patriots Fall In Opener To Bees 4-1 In Crucial Final Series

New Britain, CT – The New Britain Bees (34-33, 70-67) topped the Somerset Patriots (37-30, 75-62) 4-1 Thursday evening at New Britain Stadium.

“The bottom of the order beat me all night and that fourth inning makes me ill, but I was able to settle down and give our team a chance,” said starting pitcher Donovan Hand. “Bottom line with three games remaining the ball is still in our court.”
