Patriots Defeat Skeeters 8-5

811newsBridgewater, NJ – The Somerset Patriots (19-12, 69-32) defeated the Sugar Land Skeeters (11-20, 47-54) 8-5 Tuesday afternoon at TD Bank Ballpark.

 

In the bottom of the first inning the Patriots plated three runs to grab a 3-0 lead. First baseman Travis Scott committed an error that led to the initial run then catcher Adam Donachie roped a two RBI double.
