York, PA – With the bases loaded and no one out, Josh Wilson connected on a walk-off RBI single in the 13th inning to propel the York Revolution (23-15) past the Somerset Patriots (21-17) 6-5 Monday evening from PeoplesBank Park. It was Somerset’s first extra inning loss in five tries this season.
“Even when we were winning we have faced adversity and it’s no different now,” remarked Somerset Patriots manager Brett Jodie, whose squad just dropped its third straight series. “We have a few too many guys trying to do too much right now. If everybody just does their business it will all start coming together.”
