Patriots Battle To 7-5 Win Over Blue Crabs

Bridgewater, NJ – The Somerset Patriots (19-17, 57-49) defeated the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs (14-21, 40-65) 7-5 on Saturday evening at TD Bank Ballpark. With the win, the Patriots improved to 13-2 against Southern Maryland this season.

Somerset took a 2-0 lead in the first inning on RBI singles by Eric Farris and Bryan LaHair.

“I was just trying to put together good at bats. The guys on in front of me gave me the opportunity to drive in some runs,” said LaHair. “I was just trying to slow the game down and have quality at bats.”
