BRIDGEWATER, NJ- The Somerset Patriots and the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball have announced that New York Yankees broadcasting legend John Sterling will be the Honorary Voice of the 2017 Atlantic League All-Star Game on Wednesday, July 12th at TD Bank Ballpark.
“I’m excited to be part of this extraordinary event,” Sterling said. “I’ve been a long-time fan of the Somerset Patriots and an even bigger fan of the Kalafer family. Steve, Jonathan and Josh do things the right way. When Steve Kalafer asked would I be interested in participating in the All-Star Game, I said ‘it would be my honor’ to join you and all the fans on what will be a beautiful night at the ballpark.”
