New Owner Takes The Reins At CKO Kickboxing Somerset

There was a time about 10 years ago when Eddie Poggi called his local CKO gym home.

Literally.

A series of circumstances forced Poggi to live in the gym for about eight months, a period he describes as being “a trying time in my life.”

“It could have been worse,” he said.

Fast forward to 2018, and Poggi’s fortunes have reversed: he is now the owner of a CKO kickboxing gym, located in the Village Plaza on Easton Avenue.

Poggi and his crew held a grand re-opening celebration on June 16. The Franklin Reporter & Advocate stopped by to talk with the new owner:
