Eternal Life Christian Center – Houses of Worship

Eternal Life Christian Center began as New Brunswick Assembly of God, located at 56 Bayard Street, New Brunswick, New Jersey in the mid- 1950’s. The church relocated to its present location at 322 Franklin Boulevard, Somerset, New Jersey on May 4, 1958.

In the 1990’s, we became known as Eternal Life Christian Center. In expanding the vision, “The Personal Touch Church That Loves”, church facility upgrades were made and in the fall of 2002 the Educational Enrichment Center was opened. It serves as the home of The Academy and host to ministry and special events for the community.

As changes in directorship transpired, the congregation continued to increase in numbers and cultures, as the Lord would again change the leadership. In the Spring of 2008 the Lord brought Pastor Daryl A. Perkins to Somerset. He was officially ordained as our Senior Pastor on July 13, 2008!

Since Pastor Perkins’ arrival, ELCC continues its focus on the family and winning souls for Christ. With our church mission, “Building Lives for Eternity Today!” it is Pastor Perkins’ aim to grow God’s Kingdom and invest in the next generation of the church body. With increasing growth and community outreach, we will expand our territory. ELCC has stood the test of time and demonstrated that God is Faithful!
