‘Gettin’ the Band Back Together’ Opens at George Street Playhouse

A fast-paced story of a Jersey Boy’s reclamation of a teenage dream officially opens Oct. 4 at the George Street Playhouse, 9 Livingston Ave., New Brunswick.

“Gettin’ the Band Back Together” is the story of Mitch, a 40-year-old recently laid off from his Wall Street job, who’s forced to return to his childhood home of Sayreville. Once there, he reunites with his boyhood band mates for an epic Battle of the Bands.
