FR&A Pictorials: Hot Dogs and History On A September Sunday

Fundraisers for several local organizations were held Sept. 14.

From noon to 4 p.m., the Franklin Township Food Bank and PBA Local 154 sold hot dogs and other items for $1 each at the Corner Cafe, DeMott Lane and Amwell Road. Also offered for sale was the $2 “PBA Burger.” All proceeds went to those two organizations.

Starting a little later, from 1 to 5 p.m., the Meadows Foundation held its 3rd annual “Follow the Middlebush Roads” hour tour event. This year, in partnership with the Franklin Township Cultural Arts Council’s Visual Arts Committee, the foundation added displays of local artists’ work in all three houses. Pictured in the photo gallery are scenes from the Wyckoff-Garretson Museum.
