Plans are set for the fourth annual job fair sponsored by state Assemblyman Joe Danielsen.
The event is set for 1:30-7:30 p.m. April 18 at the Imperia, 1714 Easton Ave.
As in the past, several workshop will be held prior to the meetings with potential employers.
From 1:30-2 p.m., job search techniques will be studied, while from 2-2:30 p.m. the subject will be interview skills. From 2:30-3 p.m., the topic will be dressing for success.
“The job fair this year will be the biggest and best ever,” Danielsen said. “It’s essential that people know that it is happening because there are lots of employers that are hiring.”
“It’s very expensive for people and employers to post jobs find jobs and connect people to the right employers,” he said. “The job fair, being entirely free, does just that.”
Danielsen said he’s expecting between 80 and 100 employers to show up.
