FHS Graduate Sentenced To Nearly 7 Years In Prison For Role In Attacking U.S. Capitol Police Officer On Jan. 6, 2021

A 33-year-old Franklin High School graduate was sentenced January 27 to 80 months in jail for what prosecutors said was his part in the January 6, 2021 mace attack leading to the death of a U.S. Capitol Police Officer.

Julian Elie Khater, most recently of Pennsylvania, received his sentence in a federal court in Washington, D.C. Khater pleaded guilty to two counts of assaulting and injuring Capitol Police officers during the insurrection.
