04/28/2024 A 47-year-old Somerset man was arrested for multiple outstanding warrants out of Franklin Township, and North Brunswick Township, while officers were attempting to serve a warrant at his residence. He was processed and transported to Somerset County Jail.

04/07/2024 A 34-year-old New Brunswick woman was arrested for an outstanding warrant out of Long Beach Twp., NJ during a motor vehicle stop. She was processed and released on her own recognizance.

03/31/2024 A Somerset resident was the victim of a burglary during the overnight hours in the area of Pear Tree Ln. The unknown suspect(s) entered the victim’s unlocked vehicle and stole two pairs of sunglasses valued at $210.

12/03/2023 Somerset residents were the victim of a burglary during the afternoon/evening hours on 12/02/23 in the area of Liberty Ln. The unknown suspect(s) entered the residence when it was unoccupied and stole jewelry valued at $30,000.00 and sneakers valued at $500.00. There were no signs of forced entry to the residence.

07/02/2023 A 34-year-old Newark man was arrested by the New Jersey State Police for an outstanding warrant out of our jurisdiction. The FTPD took custody of the defendant and transported him to Somerset County Jail after processing.

August 21, 2022 – August 27, 2022 08/21/2022 A 32-year-old Long Branch man was arrested for obstructing the administration of law, hindering apprehension, defiant trespassing, and resisting arrest during a suspicious person investigation at a business located on Somerset Street. He was transported to Somerset County Jail.

08/15/2022 Criminal mischief was observed by patrol in a township park. A trash can was sprayed with graffiti by an unknown suspect(s). Repairs were estimated to be under $500.00.
