Bees Earn 5-4 Walk-Off Win Over Somerset

New Britain, Connecticut – The Somerset Patriots (23-15) twice rallied against the New Britain Bees (16-24) Saturday night but ultimately fell short in a 5-4 loss at New Britain Stadium.

The Bees took an early 1-0 lead in the third inning with an unearned run. Reid Brignac ripped an RBI double to right-center field after an Alfredo Rodriguez throwing error continued the inning. New Britain increased their lead to 2-0 in the fourth on a Jamar Walton RBI fielder’s choice.
