Attention Candidates! Primary Election Statements Now Being Accepted

We are now accepting candidate statements for the 2019 primary election on June 4 in the following races ONLY: Somerset County Sheriff (Republican and Democrat), Somerset County Freeholder (Republican) and state Assembly Legislative District 17 (Democrat).

All statements should be no more than 250 words, and include the candidate’s name, address, line of work, whether or not they are an incumbent, and should answer this question: What is the main reason your party’s voters should pick you?

Statements should also include a photo of the candidate alone.

Statements can be emailed to editor@franklinreporter.com.

Statements will be published as they are received. If a candidate’s statement is not included by June 4, it is because they did not submit one.
