Somerset Patriots Add MLB Infielder Jermaine Curtis

Bridgewater, NJ- The Somerset Patriots have signed Major League infielder Jermaine Curtis for the 2018 season. He is active for Tuesday night’s game against the New Britain Bees.

Curtis enters his first season with the Somerset Patriots and first in the Atlantic League. The former fifth-round draft pick spent the first seven years of his professional career in the St. Louis Cardinals organization. That included five games in the majors with the Cardinals in 2013. His best season in the Cardinals organization came in 2012, where he hit .310 with a .419 on-base percentage over 113 games split between Double-A Springfield and Triple-A Memphis.
