MacAfee Road School Celebrates 50 Years With Barbecue For Students, Staff and Alumni

Several hundred people showed up for the MacAfee Road School’s 50th anniversary barbecue on June 10.

Students, staff – past and present – and alumni gathered at MacAfee Road School June 10 to remember old times, renew friendships, and eat.

The occasion was a barbecue picnic attended by several hundred people. Organized by MacAfee staff, the picnic was meant to “commemorate 50 years of service to the community,” said Susan Lenczewski, a MacAfee teacher.
