Bridgewater, NJ- The Somerset Patriots announced today the signing of New Jersey native and former Rutgers Scarlet Knight Steve Nyisztor for the 2019 season.

“I’m very excited for the upcoming year and the chance to play for the Patriots,” said Nyisztor. “Being a New Jersey native, I’ve been a fan of the team my whole life. They have a great reputation as a team that competes every year, and I’m glad to finally be a part of it. It’s going to be a lot of fun playing in front of all of those loyal fans and in that beautiful ballpark. I can’t wait to get started!”
