Zarrillo Hits Walk Off Home Run To Lead To 4-2 Patriots Win

Bridgewater, NJ – Vinny Zarrillo’s first professional career home run was a walk off to lead the Somerset Patriots (38-32) to a 4-2 win over the Bridgeport Bluefish (30-40) before 7,315 fans at TD Bank Ballpark on Sunday evening. The game was the final game of the first half of the season.

The former Rutgers star came up to bat in the ninth inning with the Patriots trailing 2-1 when he launched a three-run shot down the left field line.
