Members of the Franklin High School 1994 football team gathered May 24 at the Imperia on Easton Avenue to relive their state championship season.
The event was organized by Robert Edmond and Dwayne Chiles, and featured members of the team’s coaching staff, including head coach Joe Goerge.
The 1994 team’s success was all the more sweet for the players because they were not expected to do anything that year. But 10 wins and one defeat later, they walked off the field at Giants Stadium with the title.
