Veterans Celebrated In Township Ceremony

The township commemorated Veterans’ Day Nov. 11 with a short ceremony in the municipal building, followed by ringing of the Memorial Bell in Veterans Memorial Park.

Local Boy Scouts, members of the Canal Walk Veterans club and members of the Junior ROTC battalion from Franklin High School participated in the ceremony.

The ceremony was organized by township resident Bob LaCorte and Saffie Kallon, the township’s special projects manager.
