Unity Bank is encouraging the public to “Pay It Forward” by sharing stories about their personal heroes with the incentive of $20,000 given to participants and their heroes in random drawings.

“We wanted to give people a chance to honor their personal heroes and tell their story,”  Unity Bank president and CEO James A. Hughes said in a press release about the program. “We are offering people an opportunity to ‘pay it forward’ and promote the positive impact someone can have in the lives of others.”

The giveaway runs through December 15th; five winners will be randomly drawn each month. The heroes and their nominees will each receive $500 from Unity Bank and their stories will be featured in photos and videos on the bank’s social media pages, including Facebook.com/unitybanknj/. All entries received up to the 15th of each month will be eligible for that month’s drawing.

All nominations can be made on the Unity Bank website at www.unitybank.com. No purchase is necessary and participants do not need to be customers of Unity Bank. The contest is open to residents within one of the following counties in New Jersey: Warren, Hunterdon, Somerset, Middlesex, Bergen or Union; and Northampton or Lehigh counties in Pennsylvania. Entrants must be age 18 or older as of date of entry. Please see complete contest requirements at www.unitybank.com/payitforward.
