Township residents Dylan Hutt and Carter Coudriet earned the Eagle Scout rank in January and February, 2014.

The scouts are members of Troop 113 of Somerset, sponsored by Somerset Presbyterian Church.

To reach the rank of Eagle, each Scout must complete a project that helps and benefits the community in some way. Carter’s Eagle Project consisted of replacing the roof of a shed at Somerset Presbyterian Church; he also created a ramp for another shed at the church.

Dylan’s Eagle Project was the creation of a bird bath and a bike rack for the Marconi Foundation in Marconi Plaza.

Only 65 Scouts from Troop 113 have earned the rank of Eagle in the troop’s 44-year history.
