Two Break-Ins At JFK Boulevard Apartments Net More Than $3K In Jewelry

Approximately $3,200 in jewelry was stolen from a resident of The Park at Franklin apartments in one of two break-ins on April 5, police said.

Both apartments in the John F. Kennedy Boulevard complex were entered by someone forcing open the front doors, Franklin Township Police spokesman Lt. Phil Rizzo said.

The break-in in which the jewelry was stolen was reported by the resident at 2:43 p.m., Rizzo said.

In an earlier incident, reported at about 1:10 p.m. by the building management, Rizzo said it’s not known what, if anything, was stolen.

Police are investigating the incidents, Rizzo said.
