Three County Road Paving Projects Underway, Could Cause Delays

Somerset County began several road paving projects on Oct. 31, which should take less than two weeks to complete, according to a notice from the township.

Portions of South Middlebush, Amwell and Weston Canal roads will be repaved. These will be nighttime paving projects and the roadways will remain open with an alternating traffic pattern.

Project areas are as follows:

  • South Middlebush Road: Between Blackwells Mills Road and Buffa Drive
  • Amwell Road: Between Elizabeth Avenue and Millstone River Road in Millstone
  • Weston Canal Road: Between Cottontail Lane and South Main Street in Manville

The township urges drivers to use caution in the areas and expect possible delays.
