Somerset Patriots To Host Father’s Day Celebration

SPB-3225 WEB FATHERS DAY 1024X576Bridgewater, NJ- The Somerset Patriots have announced that they will be hosting a Father’s Day Celebration on Sunday, June 21st as they take on the Sugar Land Skeeters. The first pitch at TD Bank Ballpark is scheduled for 1:05 p.m.

 

The first 1,000 men in attendance will receive a t-shirt, presented by The Palace at Somerset Park and the Hugs For Brady Foundation.

 

The event starts with an opportunity for fathers and kids to have a catch down on the field from 11:00 a.m to 12:00 p.m. Fans just need to bring their own gloves to participate.

 

There will be a pregame Autograph Session presented by Somerset County Park Foundation with all the Patriots players and coaches immediately following the catch at 12:00 p.m.

 

For $26 each, fans can enjoy a Father’s Day Ballpark BBQ in the picnic area from 12:00 –2:00 p.m. Each ticket includes your seat for the game and an all-you-can-eat buffet.

 

During the game, the Patriots will host a game-worn hat auction, with the proceeds benefitting Hugs For Brady.

 

“There’s nothing better than taking your dad out to the ballpark to enjoy a game on Father’s Day. It’s a tradition where the whole family gets to spend time together and enjoy America’s Favorite Pastime. Our Father’s Day Celebration is one we look forward to hosting every year and are excited to see the joy the day brings to our fans,” said Patrick McVerry, President and General Manager of the Somerset Patriots Baseball Club.

 

After the game, all dads and kids will get to run the bases in The Beez Foundation Diamond Derby.
