Second Chance For Animals Holds 10th Annual ‘Paws For A Cause”

Dogs of all shapes, sizes and colors gathered at Colonial Park May 21 for the 10th annual “Paws for a Cause” dog walk.

The event is a fund raiser for Second Chance for Animals, the organization that funds the Franklin Township Animal Shelter.

The day’s highlight was a mass walk along a trail in the park. Centered at the gazebo of Parking Lot “C,” attendees at the event were also treated to dog contests, a door prize raffle and an agility demonstration.

There were also a number of vendors there with dog-related products.

The FR&A live-streamed from the event, during which time we spoke with SCFA president Bob Passano, and some dog owners.
