Bingo – Every Thursday

Caram – Daily (East Indian Game Similar to Billiards)

Chair Exercises – Every Wednesday, 10:30 a.m.

Computer Instruction – Every Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m. Advance registration required.

Healthy Bones Exercise Class – Monday, 9:30 a.m. (Doctor’s Note Needed for Class)

Line Dancing – Every Friday, 9:30 am

Games (Scrabble, Dominos, Checkers, Yahtzee, Uno & Quizzle) – Daily

October 1 – “Learn About Somerset County Legislature” by Pat Walsh, Somerset County Board of Chosen Freeholders, 10:30 am

October 4 – “Stand Tall Against Falls” by Caitlin Witucki, MS, Health Promotion Specialist, Somerset County Office on Aging & Disability Services, 10:30 am (Did you know that most falls are preventable?  Attend this program and learn how to reduce your risk of falling.)

October 4, 11, 18 & 25 – Bridge Lessons with Renee, 10:30 am

October 8 & 22 – Tai Chi with Bobbi Joels, 10:30 am (unleash your own potential, become one with nature or simply reduce stress and have fun through the ancient Chinese art of flowing movement with Tai Chi.)

October 11 – “New Jersey’s Precious Resource:  All About New Jersey Water Conservation” by Matt Popin, Watershed Protection Specialist, New Jersey Water Supply Authority, 10:30 am

October 14 – Center Closed

October 15 – “All Hallows Eve: Celebrate the End of the Harvest” with a Trip to Hillsborough Farm, 10:00 am (Celebrate the end of the fall harvest also known as “All Hallows’ Eve” at Hillsborough Farms with pumpkin painting, apple cider and a traditional hay ride through the corn maze.)

October 18 – “Keep Your Kidneys Healthy” by Dr. El Banna, Saint Peter’s University Hospital, 10:30 am

October 29 & 31 – “AARP Defensive Driving Seminar” with Lorraine, 1:00-4:00 pm (Please call (732) 563-4213 for information.)

October 31 – “Happy Halloween: Trick or Treat Parade of Costumes” with the Cedar Prep School Children, 10:30 am (Judge and vote on the best, scariest or the cutest Halloween costume when the kids from Cedar Prep School join Quail Brook for the first “Trick or Treat Parade of Costumes.”)
