Police: Stolen Car Recovered In New Brunswick, Bumpers, Wrenches Gone

Police shieldA car stolen from a Parkside Street resident was found later the same day in New Brunswick, police said.

The resident told police that he parked his black 2000 Honda Civic in the building’s north parking lot around 6 p.m. on Jan. 27.

He said he found the car missing when he returned to the spot he parked it, about 10 a.m. Jan. 28.

The victim called Franklin police, who told him the car was found in New Brunswick.

New Brunswick police told him the car was found on Class Street, police said. The victim went to claim the car and found that the bumpers had been removed and the steering column was damaged.

He also said a wrench set valued at $50 was stolen.

The car’s value was set at $3,000.
