Police Log: Oct. 16, 2013

police-shield-leftKarthikey Palamalai of Dayton was cited Oct. 16 for careless driving after the car he was driving rear-ended one driven by Karen Pecorella of Somerset on Elizabeth Avenue. Palamalai told police his foot slipped off the brake pedal.

Sadie Porowski of North Plainfield was cited for careless driving Oct. 16 after the car she was driving rear-ended one driven on Davidson Avenue by David Sampson of the United Kingdom.

Township resident Raul Pretto was cited for having a dog at large Oct. 16 after his dog, Sam, ran into a car driven on Voorhees Avenue by Vaughan Needham of Somerset. Needham said the dog ran into the side of his car, then got up and ran into the lot of 837 Somerset Street. Pretto told police that Sam crosses the street because the construction workers feed him.
