Police Log: Nov. 9-13

Nov. 9

  • A Carriage Trail resident told police that someone entered her home and stole her purse, and the $11 cash in it.

Nov. 10

  • A man was seen looking into parked cars early in the morning on Whittier Avenue. Surveillance video showed the man was about 5’5″ to 6′ tall, and was wearing a large dark, puffy coat and carrying a bulky backpack and a bag.
  • Someone stole $42 worth of hair products from Walgreens on Hamilton Street.
  • A small brush fire on Laurel Avenue was extinguished by members of the Kingston and Little Rocky Hill fire departments.
  • A car parked on Davidson Avenue was keyed.

Nov. 12

  • Someone broke the front door on a Valley Wood Drive home.

Nov. 13

  • A 2007 Ford F-250 truck that was reported stolen from Europlus Motorsports on Somerset Street was later recovered in Newark. The truck was valued at $21,995.
  • Jairam Harricharan, 53, of Somerset was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
  • Brian Leighton, 29 of Somerset was arrested for disorderly conduct.
