Police Log: June 20-24, 2017

June 20

  • Cara Padovano of North Brunswick was cited for failure to produce her driver’s license and failure to produce her insurance card, and Mark Keene, also of North Brunswick, was cited for careless driving after the two collided on Skillmans Lane.  The two were negotiating a curve on Skillmans when Keene’s car drifted out of its lane and collided with Padovano’s car.

June 21

  • Michael Cerrito of Bridgewater was cited for making an unsafe lane change after his car collided with one driven by Krista Malone of Piscataway on Easton Avenue. Malone said Cerrito’s car drifted into her lane. Cerrito told police the spare tire on the car’s driver’s side made him drift into the other lane.

June 22

  • Tony Souza of East Brunswick was cited for careless driving and driving without a license after his car rear-ended one on South Middlebush Road by Jorge Zavaleta-Cortez of Dayton.

June 24

  • Yingzhi Sun of Somerset was cited for driving an unregistered vehicle and Jaquis Brandon of New Rochelle, NY was cited for driving an unregistered vehicle and driving without insurance after they were involved in an accident at School House and Mettlers roads. Brandon’s car rear-ended Sun’s.
  • Cars drien by Patrick Shanagan of Asbury and Carrie Lin of Somerset collided when Shanagan was attemptiong to turn left from a driveway onto Cedar Grove Lane. Lin said Shanagan’s car pulled out in front of hers.
