Police Log: July 11 – 15, 2017

July 11

  • A car driven by Brent Leoni of Hillsborough rear-ended one driven by Rebecca Jimenez, also of Hillsborough, at Amwell Road and Cedar Grove Lane. Leoni said he looked away from traffic momentarily before the accident.
  • Robin Sanjuan of Somerset was cited for careless driving after her car collided with one at Amwell and South Middlebush roads driven by Emiliano Perez of Somerset. Sanjuan said she was driving down Amwell and was distracted by the detour signs, and did not see the red light before entering the intersection.
  • Kristyna Bzdula of Somerset sustained abrasions to her arm and shoulder after she fell off a car driven by Andrzej Bzdula, also of Somerset. Andrzej Bzdula said he backed out of a parking space in a Reler Lane lot to get the woman off of his car.

July 12

  • Robert Anderson of Princeton was cited for careless driving after his car rear-ended one on Route 27, driven by Colleen Paras of Somerset. The impact pushed Paras’ car into the rear of one driven by Gabrielle Perez of Iselin.
  • Neha Argarwal of Princeton was cited for careless driving after her car rear-ended one driven on Route 27 by Brinda Suppiah of Princeton.
  • Miguel Bautista-Valdivia of Pennsylvania was cited for careless driving and driving without a license after his car rear-ended one driven on Easton Avenue by Tammy DeFosse of Piscataway.

July 14

  • Laxman Yelagoila of Belle Mead was cited for careless driving after his car collided at Easton Avenue and Cedar Grove Lane with one driven by Miguel Pinto-Rodriguez of New Brunswick. Police said Yelgoila made a left  turn in front of Pinto-Rodriguez’s car.
  • Argent Lita of North Haledon was cited for driving with a suspended license and careless driving after his car rear-ended one on Claremont Road, driven by Brian McKeon of Somerset. Police said Lita fled the scene on foot after the accident, but was located a short time later.

July 15

  • Natasha Rossom of Pennsylvania was cited for careless driving and driving on a closed road after her car ran into a ditch on South Middlebush Road. Rossom said she did not know why she drove off the road.
