Police: Construction Truck Taken on Joy Ride at Job Site

Someone took a construction vehicle for a joy ride last weekend at a construction site at School House and Randolph roads, police said.

Police said employees of Renda Roads told them that a 1978 Caterpillar grader had been driven around the job site sometime between the early evening of Sept. 21 and early morning of Sept. 23.

There was no damage to the machine, police said, although a small section of curbing was damaged.

The company representatives told police that they had no idea who would have done that.
