Santa Paws 201411

“Santa Claus” gets a kiss from a pooch prior to them getting their picture taken at the 2014 Second Chance for Animals’ “Pictures With Santa Paws” fundraiser.

The weather was frightful Dec. 6, but that didn’t deter a steady stream of pets – and they owners – from coming to Sampson G. Smith School for pictures with “Santa Paws.”

The event is an annual fundraiser for Second Chance for Animals, the group which funds the Franklin Township Animal Shelter.

SCFA president Bob Pezzano said there was a steady stream of customers during the day.

After pictures are taken, pet parents can purchase prints in a variety of formats.

All proceeds go to SCFA.

The fundraiser continues Dec. 13 and 20, from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

For more information, visit the SCFA Web site.
