Life Story: Linda Hiller, 64; Former Township Resident

Linda Hiller passed away on Nov. 20 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. She was 64 years of age.

Mrs. Hiller was born in The Bronx and grew up in Helmetta. She lived for a time in Somerset before moving to South River over 30 years ago.

She was employed by the Middlesex County Board of Social Services as Chief Clerk.

Mrs. Hiller loved to shop and read and enjoyed the drama of a good soap opera. Above all, she loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband of 33 years Sy Hiller of South River. She is also survived by her daughter Kaitlyn Hiller of South River, siblings Diana Abbiati of Jamesburg, Bruce Heim of Little Egg Harbor and Deborah Bea and her husband John of Jamesburg sister-in-law Mary Lou Litrakis and her husband John of Somerset, along with many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will begin a7 9:15 a.m. Nov. 28 at the Gleason Funeral Home, 1360 Hamilton St. A funeral mass will be held on at 10 a.m. Nov. 28 at Corpus Christi Church in South River, and committal services will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in East Brunswick. Visiting will be held from 4-8 p.m. Nov. 27 at the Gleason Funeral Home.
