Life Story: Jennie Pistone, 93; Former Somerset Resident

Mrs. Jennie Pistone passed away on April 16 at Princeton Medical Center in Princeton. She was 93 years old.

Mrs. Pistone was born in Jersey City and lived there as a child. She also resided in Brooklyn, Park Ridge, Somerset and North Brunswick prior to moving to Monroe about 10 years ago.

She worked for many years at the Rutgers University Bookstore in New Brunswick and at the Somerset Bank of America.

She was a wonderful cook and had a great sense of humor. Her children all considered her to be their best friend.

She was pre-deceased by her three brothers.

Mrs. Pistone is survived by her children, Vincent Pistone, Lorraine Lasky, Gerland Pistone and Julia Mollica. She is also survived by her three grandchildren, Corrine, Michael and Anthony and her great-grandchildren Jesse and Christina.

All services will be held privately.
